For the “Hen’s Teeth” tour, Iron & Wine collaborated with Lighting Designer Terence Ankeny to create a refined, atmospheric lighting design using GLP X4 Bar 20 and Chauvet Outcast 2X Wash fixtures. The X4 Bars provided clean architectural looks and subtle pixel effects, while the Outcast 2X Wash delivered rich, versatile color across indoor and outdoor venues. Designed with restraint and intention, the system used layered lighting to enhance the music’s emotional tone, resulting in a compact, efficient rig that delivered consistent, immersive visuals throughout the tour.
