Overview
For Taking Back Sunday’s Fall Tour 2026, Lighting Designer Corey Easterbrook developed a low-profile, floor-based design built around a series of elevated plexiglass performance decks. JRLX supplied the complete touring lighting and control package, with Robe FORTEs and Spiiders mounted on GT carts behind the band, joined by ACME Pulsar S2s and Elation SOL I Blinders to create a powerful wall of backlight and audience-facing effects. The deck system became an integral lighting element itself, with GLP impression X4 Bar 20s outlining the plexiglass structure and SGM Q-8s positioned beneath it to illuminate the platforms from within. The compact, self-contained design minimized overhead infrastructure while creating significant visual depth across the stage. Control was handled with a ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M Stadium, with atmosphere provided by a ViCount 5000 touring hazer.
