The Elation Opto Branch 8 is a 8-way DMX distributor and booster designed to enhance signal reliability in lighting networks. Housed in a 1U 19-inch rackmount chassis, it features one 5-pin XLR DMX input, one passive loop-through output, and eight optically isolated 5-pin XLR outputs, each providing up to 1000V of electrical isolation to prevent ground loops and ensure signal integrity. Each output is equipped with dedicated drivers to boost and regenerate the DMX signal, making it more accurate and reliable over long cable runs. The unit includes DMX status LED indicators for each output.
