For The Academy Is’s 2025 / 2026 tour, Lighting Designer Zach Scott developed a versatile lighting design that balanced impact with flexibility across a variety of venues. The system combined Chauvet Outcast 2X Wash fixtures, Strike P38 blinders, and Robe MegaPointes to create layered looks ranging from expansive color washes to sharp, high-energy accents.

A ProPlex Data Network provided reliable control, while a modular rigging and rolling deck setup supported quick transitions and efficient touring. Subtle atmospheric haze added dimension and contrast, giving each performance a distinctive visual character.
