JRLX, Inc. worked with Governors State University to modernize the house lighting system in their performance venue, consulting on and specifying a Canto Retro LED Module System featuring Retro 600s and 150s.

The new fixtures, set at a warm 3000K color temperature, blended seamlessly with the theater’s original look — delivering light output indistinguishable from the previous tungsten sources while dramatically reducing energy consumption. In collaboration with Technical Director Michael Krull, our team provided a solution that preserved the aesthetic character of the space, offered long-term sustainability, and achieved massive power savings without compromise.
